From April 7 to 15, 2024, Oghak NGO organized its 8th breast cancer screening campaign. 113 women from Yerevan and the regions of Armenia took part in the campaign. On April 5, 2024, the day before the launch of the screening campaign, an informative lecture related to this topic took place at 18:30, at the Nork Marash center of Oghak. The lecturer was Ms. Khachanush Hakobyan, the director of the Armenian American Health Center, who detailed the screening process and the actions that were to follow. More than 50 new participants – Armenians from Armenia and forcibly displaced Armenians from Artsakh – took part in the screenings.
Thanks to the friends of Oghak from the Armenian Diaspora, we succeeded once again in implementing this important program and we were happy that all our participants are healthy and committed to staying healthy througth adopting the prevention and early detection approach.
The management of Oghak expresses its gratitude to all the benefactors who played an important role in the implementation of the 8th breast cancer screening campaign.
